On the sacred occasion of the Quincentenary year of Shri Guru Nanak Devji, we feel proud and honoured in dedicating the film "NANAK NAM JAHAZ HAl" to the revered memory of The Guru Sahib, on whose teaching this film is based.

The story of the film "NANAK NAM JAHAZ HAl" has been based on a true and historical incident which took place within the sacred four walls of the Holi Durbar Sahib, Amritsar.

Our grateful thanks are due to the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Amritsar, and its Dharmak Salahkar Committee the Jathedars of Akal Takhat Sahib and Harmandar Sahib, the Grunthi Singh Sahibs and the Chief Khalsa Diwan, Amritsar; the honourable authorities of all the aforesaid institutions heard the story of this film with thorough attention and offered their kind and valuable suggestions. Their approval and appreciation of the story and script encouraged us in making this film.

Our grateful thanks are due to the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (Delhi State), the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Such-Khand Hazoor Sahib, the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Patna Sahib and the managers of all those Gurdwaras who extended full co-operation in completing the shooting of the film within the Gurdwaras.

Our grateful thanks are due to the Area Commander N.C.C. Amritsar, the Governing Council Khalsa College, Amritsar and the Cadets who extended their full co-operation in shooting the N.C.C. sequence of the film.
