"Geraftaar" is the story of game played between lawmen and criminals, a hide and seek between good and evil, rich and poor.
Kishen Khanna (Kamal Hassan) was sentenced to be hanged for the murder of a girl, to which he had no motive. He was framed by his girl friend Anu's (Poonam Dhillon) brother Ranjit (Ranjit) and his Partner Vednath (Kade Khan) and an expert evil minded Advocate Chunawalla (Kulbhushan Kharbanda).
Karan Khanna (Amitabh Bachchan) was arrested for the revenge he hd taken of his friend Police Officer Hussain's (Rajnikanth) merciless killing by the clever and influential criminals. After which he himself surrenders to law and his beloved Geeta (Madhavi) also a Police Officer, handcuffed him.
"Geraftaar" is a story of honest and powerful Heros and strong and cunning villains.
