Ram and Sadhana come to seek a job in an office. Sadhana is able to secure that job fooling a better qualified Ram.

Evantually Ram is also able to secure a higher post in the same office. Initially Ram rebukes Sadhana for her deceit, but falls in love with her and marries her later.

Fate involves Ram with Urvashi a friend of Sadhana in sexual relationship. Ram confesses his mistake to Sadhana and asks for her forgiveness, but she does not relent and their marriage ends up in divorce.

After an elapse of five years, Ram is transfered to the another branch office as Manager where Sadhana is also working as a clerk. Sadhana who is still not reconciled to the mistake of Ram responds adversely to Ram's friendly gestures.

Ram and Sadhana's son Raju who is about six years old fails to bridge the gap between father and mother.

In a dramatic sequence both Ram and Sadhana are united in the end.
