Gem of guys- Kaley & Baley were not only relatives but were college mates too. Kaley's grandmother, whom every one called Rani Maan, was a big landlady of Ahmed Nagar. Kaley's mother selected a match for him but Kaley did not like the old style of marriage, Baley suggested that they should inform Rani Maan that Kaley is already got married.

Accordingly when Rani Maan was informed she got infuriated and since she loved Kaley much she instructed that bride be shown to her on her arrival in Bombay. On gettng her letter Kaley and Baley were non-plussed and got ready to make plans to turn their falsehood into truth. Consequently they decided to engage Shoba, a dancing girl, as "KerayeKeBewee (a Hired Wife)"  It is well-known fact that to hide one falsehood one has to tell hundreds of lies but then a lie has no legs to stand upon. And this is in nutshell the soul of this story. 'Was Kaley's family ruined or there pervaded blissful happiness. Shoba was a very sweet and chaste girl and Rani Maan to accepted her at first sight. On the other hand Shoba's father was a low-grade and character-less man who wanted to cash the situation. He fleeced huge amounts of money form Kaley and Baley and his persistent demand made them nervous.

How long could they keep their plan a secret?
When and how they were exposed?

All this you will witness on the silver screen in an entertaining fashion.
