Four straws make a nest. Four bricks make a house-and where hearts meet, you get a home of love. In such a home lived four hearts- Balraj, Purnima, Sagar and Babhoo. They loved each other deeply in this happy home. But they were unaware of the storm brewing outside. One day that storm burst over them, the straws blew away. Happiness and laughter of the home were wiped away. That storm was Sharda.
Sharda was Balraj’s first wife and elder sister of Purnima. When Purnima became a widow on her wedding night, Sharda could not bear the shock and she was lost in the darkness of madness. Sagar was still a kid and Balraj was lost in a vacuum. Purnima took charge of the disintegrated home and soon happiness was back. Behind this joy was the sorrow of Sharda's madness. Doctors were helpless so when medicines fail, one falls back on faith and prayers. The miracle happened. Sharda recovered from her madness and returned home.
Doctors warned that Sharda was still over the thin line separating sanity from madness and any shock will again push her over the brink-this time forever. Purnima started wearing a widow’s attire again and gave her place to her elder sister Sharda.
Was this the right solution? The fate which brought them to this crossroad of life, could it offer any other way out? Could the family secret remain a permanent secret for Sharda? If not, then ‘ what happened next? The answer to all these and other questions is –BASERAA.
