Cinemaazi remembers Kalyan Kumar on his death anniversary

Karnataka’s star, Kalyan Kumar, was the most sought after actor of the 50s and 60s Kannada cinema. His role as a daredevil bandit in 1956 film Sadarama landed him as a star with considerable star value and was the stepping stone his huge success in both Kannada and Tamil film industry. A producer and actor Kumar took on various different roles in his life as well, much like the films he used to be a part of. Cinemaazi remembers the legend on his death anniversary- he passed away on 1 August, 1999.
