This is the heart touching story of the conflict between these two individuals.

Vidyaghar was an idealist village reformer who lived in Madhopur. He spent all his energy for the betterment of the village. He strived to make his village an ideal one. And he had succeeded in setting serval new ideals for his village. As a result, the village had won fame in all districts and the Government had allotted it a Shield as the ideal village in all districts.

One day a Nautanki troupe came in the village. It was led by Chandrakala. But Vidyadhar Guruji did not permit her troupe to stage the shows. According to him, such shows stimulated base passion and the baneful influence on the people. Chandrakala was taken aback, but she did not lose heart. She left the village and just on its outstrikes, she staged her show. And the village people came to see the performance stealthily defying Guruji's ban.

When Guruji realized that the very purpose of why he had opposed the shows was being lost, he went with the village chief to the Nautanki camp and forced Chandrakala to leave the place.

Forced to leave in defeat Chandrakala vowed that she will not rest until she makes Guruji come on the Nautanki stage and play the Khanjadi.
