Amongst innumerable patriotic tales of warrior Rajputs, PANNADAI is an epic of Rajasthan which dates back to four hundred years. While meeting heroic death in the last grim struggle, the invading Moghul Emperor Babar, Rana Sang of Chittorgarh left behind him Queen Karunavati to bear a son who was predicted by Royal Guru to re-establish the free Rajput Kingdom.

Seizing the opportunity Bahadursingh, the King of Gujarat, besieged Chittorgarh but was baffled in his efforts when PANNADAI very cleverly summoned the help of Emperor Humayun.

Unfortunately, however, Rani Karunavati died while defending Chittorgarh entrusting child-king Udaysing to her bosom faithful friend PANNADAI-Sardar Mahabalsingh's wife, who had then to face the wiles and conspiracies of Banbir, the illegitimate son of Rana Sang's brother whose strategic intrigues had just brought him near the minor's throne which he wanted to usurp. What havoc! - What terror! !- What a sacrifice !!!

SACRIFICE OF THE ONLY SON

Such unparalleled unique, patriotic, loyal lady is filmed and presented by a lady producer - Kamlabai Mangloreker - in- "PANNADAI !" - a Pradeep Picture.
