Who is not aware of the purifying "NAVRATRI" festival? Devotees of goddess Durga celebrate it rejoicing with singing, dancing, loving and worshipping the Mataji, invoking success to their life. Savitri the only daughter of Ratanpur's Thakur also enjoyed the nectar of devotion and surrendered herself to Maa Jagdamba.

When Navratri celebrations were in full swing at the haveli of Thakur, and unknown youth suddenly snatched away the flute from Lalita's husband Lalloo, and held everyone spell bound by his amazing mastery. While it kindled love in the heart of Savitri, Lalita and her elder sister got wild over this action.

On inquiring by Thakur the daring youth Ajay related the tragedy of how his mother and sister got separated in the floods. Kindhearted Thakur consoled him and entrusted the management of haveli to him Lalita got enraged like a serpentine and conspired with Thakur Ramsingh and munimji in vain attempts to finish him, while Thakur Saheb, paying no heed to their protest bound Ajay and Savtri in matrimonial bondage. By the blessings of Durgamata they got reunited with the lost mother and sister. Lalita's malicious tricks of womanly charms successfully framed Ajay and got them driven out. Devoted Savitri also followed them. Soon she gave birth to a lovely son. Thakur Saheb decided to give away entre prosperity to him in heritage, while Lalita wickedly planned to murder the kid, during Navratri festival.
