Mohabbat Zindagi Hai,
Love is Life,
And Love is to give,
And to give is to lay the foundation of happiness.

This happiness is the most elusive - the more you want to posse it, the less you get of it and the more you give to others, the more it comes to you.... And happiness is one thing that you can't buy with money.

But youthful Neeta thought so. She showered money - on parties and picnics, on friends and frivolity, on song, dance and music. But was she happy? - far from it.

When Neeta's father died, he left behind a Will - if she did not get married within 3 months, she would lose all her rights to the millions and to the extensive coal mines. Neeta flew into a rage against her father: "While he lived he denied me tae paternal love, now that he is dead he denies me the money... What did he ever do for my happiness?"

This was exactly the cause of her misery. She all the time expected others to do things for her. She never thought that she too could do something for others. If her father never did anything for her, did she ever do anything for her father? No! She always sought happiness and knew not that it comes from within.

And suddenly there were 72 hours left for the Will to be effective. She ran like mad, to all the lawyers... She appealed to them to find a way, But they all said - marriage! And she was not ready to marry, for it meant slavery to MAN. At last a lawyer found a way out – Marriage to a prisoner condemned to be hanged within 72 hours.

They rushed to jail. She was ready to pay any price in terms of money. But Amar - the condemned man refused saying: "I am a poor labourer! But my dead body is not for sale. To go to a living man and to bargain for his dead body is downright villainy and meanness"

But then Amar agreed to sell his dead body for Rs. 30.000/-.  Neeta smiled triumphantly - it was a victory for her values.

But Amar was telling the lawyer to pay Rs. 25,000/- out of it to the widow of the murdered man. Adding "Tell Bhabi! I did not destroy the sindhoor in the parting of her hair". And the rest Rs 5,000/- to another friend for treatment of his mother who was suffering from T.B.

Neeta was stunned. Here was selfless giving,.. Death was not more than 72 hours away and approaching nearer and nearer every second and yet upon Amar's face there was peace and compassion for his fellow beings.

This is the story of the conflict of these two opposite characters - a clash of values of "demanding" and "giving". "Mohabbat Zindagi Hai" is the story of these conflicts.

Who lost in this and who won?
And who lost his all and gained everything?

That is the message of "Mohabbat Zindagi Hai".
