MASTER is a modern day story of a young teenager, Ravi, who hails from a royal family in India. His father is the Maharaja of a town named Sonpur. The Rajah has two advisers - Vishnu, a straight forward and honest man and Kailash Choudhary (K.C.) an overly ambitious man.

K.C. decides he has had enough of the Rajah and his ways and he hatches a plan to eliminate the Rajah and his only son Ravi. K.C. convinces the Rajah that he has arranged for his teenage son to be trained in a martial art school in Hong Kong under a famous instructor. The martial arts are the young boy's passion. At first the Rajah is reluctant to send him; however, K.C. convinces him that it would make a man of the young boy. Ravi (the 18 year old boy) is packed off to Hong Kong. Little does he know that K.C. and his men have planted drugs in his baggage. On arrival in Hong Kong, the drugs are discovered and the innocent Ravi is arrested and sent to a maximum security prison to serve his term in jail.

Ravi is released from this prison in Hong Kong, twelve years later and returns to his home town in India. Instead of finding peace and tranquillity, he is confronted by K.C. and his men. His search for his missing family begins.

The peace loving Ravi has to put the pieces of this complicated puzzle together. Ravi is pushed against the wall by K.C. and his men. He has to fall back on the Martial art that he has learnt from his cell mate Kung Fu Grand Master in the prison in Hong Kong-Wing Tsun Kung Fu. Ravi has become a Master of this art. And so this master fights his way to justice, winning the hearts of one and all in his hometown and also winning the heart of his girl Kiran in the process.
