On a New Year eve, a young dancer was attacked and killed by an unknown person. Such a well known film dancer Jyothi Lakshmi was brutally murdered in her apartment and the whole matter took a serious turn. Chief of Police entrusted the matter with Inspector Bhaskar. From postmortem report Inspector Bhaskar concluded that killer was a left hander.
Another dancer Jaya was stabbed, on one night while she was travelling with her friend doctor Padma who was engaged to Inspector Bhaskar. Jaya was admitted in the hospital and killer Rana made one more attempt which was spilled by the security guards posted in the hospital by Inspector Bhaskar.
The killer Rana in a trans remembered years back now his mother was killed by a dancer Vijaya. The boy Rana had grabbed a knife and stabbed Vijaya again and again. The boy grow up and grew up along with his hatred towards dancers.
Chief of Police organised a dance programme of another well known dancer Silk Smitha hoping that he could trap the killer on that occasion. Rana out witted police and Silk Smitha was murdered.
The first clue came to Inspector Bhaskar from Madhuri, a Night Club dancer. Riding on Rana's house Inspector Bhaskar found out that Rana was shockingly resembles him and was also left hander. Baskar keeps vigil on Rana's house, but Rana escapes from Police eyes and murdered dancer Madhuri.
In the follwoing confrontation between Rana and Bhaskar, Rana escaped disguised as Inspector, reached Jaya's room in hospital to kill her. But he came to know that Jaya was shifted to doctor Padma's house. He rushed to Padma's house and killed Jaya and about to kill Doctor Padma, when Inspector Bhaskar reach there. In the following struggle Rana was killed.
