Namrata Shourie (Sonali Kulkarni) is a journalist and social activist. For many years she has been in love with Shantanu Arya (Nirmal Pandey), a glamour photographer, and is now desperate to get married and become a mother. Whenever she brings up this issue, he procrastinates one pretext or the other. Not that he has ceased to love her, but he is fully aware that his single status is very attractive to female models; and his changed status will lower his chances of philandering.

At this juncture, in the course of her job, she comes across Akash (Jimmy Shergil), a boy much younger to her. He adores her and is madly in love with her. She treats his love as a school boy'scrush, but enjoys his company because he eases the tedium of her bedroom.

Discovering Akash's interest in her, Shantanu feels insecure and confronts her. Realising Shantanu's jealousy, she decides to play Akash against him. Akash gets so much besotted that he persuades hisgrandmother for the marriage with an elderly girl.

Shantanu, even though he sees through Namrata's game, agrees to marry her. She is happy, butrealises that she has led Akash the garden path.

Where will all this lead to? Whom will she marry?
