"Hamara Adhikar" is the story of a family living in peace and happiness. Every member of the family respects his or her duty like God.

But the harmony of the house is shattered to pieces by the entry of a young bride, wedded to the demand of rights but ignorant in the performance of duties. The family divides and due to the torture and extreme pangs of separation the very loving heart of the mother breaks asunder and she dies, becoming the first victim of the demon of rights.

The death does unite the family but not for long. The naked and barbaric force of rights, in the shape of a stinking slap, falls on the face of the aged father from the hand of the bride, and to hide his shame and humiliation, the father leaves the house with his young daughter.

The then masters of the house, the bride and her husband, lying on the thorny bed of rights start asserting their rights against each other over the possession of their only child.

The demon of rights is caged and put to sleep only when they find the child missing from the cradle.

The removal of the common link - the link of flesh and blood - makes them realise the miseries and pain they had caused to the dead mother and homeless father.

But by the time they realise their mistakes and search for the father and the young sister the supreme sacrifice has been made at the altar of rights - the father is dead, mourned by the heart broken daughter.

The lost child is also found by the help of the same daughter who, like her father, followed the path of duties even in supreme difficulties.

The family is again united but at what cost - at the cost of the lives of the father and the mother.

"Hamara Adhikar" solves the problem of rights in a way where no one is a looser provided every body realises that our greatest Right is our Duty.

"Hamara Adhikar" is a message for the preservation of peace and happiness of a family symbolizing a community and a nation. Our Right is our Duty.
