Gopi (Sunil Shetty) works in the Police Department as a Head Constable. He is an ardent devotee of Barjangbali (Lord Hanuman). He always remains upset with his job because he is a sincere cop who doesn't accept any bribe and due to which his wife (Shilpa Shirodkar), mother (Shammi) and son (master Imran) keeps nagging him.

Kishan (Sunil Shetty in double fole) is freed prison. He was jailed for the crime he had not committed. Kishan and Gopi have similar looks. Kishan doesn't talk to his mother (Aruna Irani) since past 10 years, because she doesn't reveal the identity of his father to him. Kishan forces her to tell about his father Chowdhary Sahab (Suresh Oberoi), a simpleton used to work in a jewellery shop. One day police came and arrested him and after which she had been reading in the newspapers about his nefarious activities. To this Kishan promises her that one day he'll bring his father back on the right path.

One day Kishan disguised as Gopi arrests Sharad (Shiva) a goon, to which everyone is surprised to see the sea change and bravery in Gopi. Kishan with the help of Bajrangbali fools Gopi and takes the benefit of sharing the same looks. He then starts searching for his father Chawdhary Sahab, who alongwith Sawant (Manoj Joshi) and MInister (Arun Bakshi) does smuggling and crime. Chowdhary always works under the supervision of Sawant.

Chowdhary, Sawant and Minister gets worried and want to eliminate Kishan, as he starts destroying their business. They come to know his real identity as Kishan and inform him about this for which he agrees to work for them. Kishan now learns about the real matter going on in Chowdhary's house. He then with the help of Barkha (Karisma Kapoor) who is Commissioner's (Satyen Kappu) daughter tries to nab all the culprits.
