DOBARA is the story of stormy relationships that arise from the quirk of fate and circumstances. It is about Jackie Shroff, an established writer living in marital bliss with his wife Mahima Chaudhary. All of this is violently shaken one day when he gets a call from Raveena Tandon who, 12 years ago, was his love, before being struck with Schizophrenia. Now, she drops a bomb by telling him that she has had a son by him, who was born in the asylum and now resides with a family in Goa. She wants him to accompany her to Goa and wish their son on his birthday. Dumbstruck and bemused, he decides to go to Goa with her. Mahima, when she comes to know of this, is aghast and follows their trail. All of this culminates in in a tremendous emotional upheaval and then - sublime reconciliation. On all count, this tale, told with great aplomb and technical virtuosity, is going to a profoundly moving experience for the viewers.
