Our film “DEEWANE” is about you about us, about everybody who is in love, who wants to be in love, who is looking for love and who is able to experience true love. It is a journey through a women’s heart, how she discovers love! Sapna (Urmila Matondkar) is a girl, full of life and lots of dreams. She is searching for the unknown; love, passion, care, and happiness, and she finds it ! she finds it through a man who could just do anything in the world to make her happy. Get her the stars, the moon as we say. But is that man‘s love as true as Sapna’s? Does her search for true love end here?
Vishal’s (Ajay Devgan) Girlfriend often wishes he had the same passion for her as he has for his work. He is a hard cop, totally committed to his profession. His madness to track down criminals often sidelines his personal life. With time he realises the meaning of love and decides to shower all his passions and affections and be a lover boy like never before. But is he able to endear her love?
A star waiting to shine. She is quite a popular singer and a silent lover, Pooja (Mahima) has never confessed her feelings to the man she loves. But does love need words? No ! Does the man equally reciprocate her feelings?
A small but harmless thief arun (Ajay Devgan in double role) is truly romantic at heart. He dreams about making lots of money and about a girl who would sweep him off his feet !! He stumbles, finds her and falls madly in love with her. Does she accept him?
Deewane is a beautifully woven story about the love mystery that surrounds these characters and the way destiny shapes up their life. Deewane is about happiness and sorrow, union and separation, success and failure, despair and hope, love and longing, mystery and riddles.
