The Story of the film revolves around Vicky, who lives with his sister Anu. He owns a garage where he works along with his friends - Sanju, Ballu, Gopal & a 5 year old Oilpaani, an orphan who is dumb by birth. There is a terror in the city as mysterious killing take place on every full moon night. The nature of the killings looks as if the victim was attacked by an animal. This baffles Police Inspector S.P. Singh who is investigating the case.

One day Vicky comes across Priya and falls in love with her in first sight but is soom dismayed to learn that she is officially engaged to his client, Rakesh. On a fateful night Rakesh falls victim to the mysterious killer and is brutally killed. A shattered Priya attempts suicide but her attempt is thwarted by Vicky who puts his life in danger and saver her.

A notorious gangster, Nagraj's younger brother Devraj tries to molest Priya one day on finding her alone. Vicky intervenes just in time and thrashes Devraj and his goons. Devraj swears revenge. On the other hand, seeds of love are sown and soon Vicky and Priya fall in love.

Vicky's friend Ballu is in love with an arrogant girl Devki. His friends in the garage are always in look out for an opportunity to provoke her. One such provocation takes a serious turn - Devki threatens and terrifies oilpaani. Soon on a fateful night, Oilpaani falls victim to the mysterious killer, but he manages to leave behind a clue. He writes "d" on a car with his blood before breathing his last.

Who is spreading this terror?
