Bhagwan, a dreamer who keeps on imagining doing great things gets himself innocently entangled in a murder and loot plot. Unwittingly and unite unknown to himself the loot of jewellery comes into his possession in a portfolio similar to the one he owns and carries around quite unconcerned. By some comedy of errors the criminal's attempt to regain the jewellery from Bhagwan is foiled and he becomes the victim of their violent attentions. As the recovery of the loot from Bhagwan is delayed complicated circumstances the crooks get more and more desperate and consequently border and the plot thickens.

Ignorant of the plot of the crooks and his share in concealing the looted valuables Bhagwan goes on dreaming about his sweet-heart, Radha, and lives in happy world of his sweet romantic imaginings. This part of his romantic affairs is going on in his imaginings without making any headway in practical life, for he lacks lamentably the courage and practically to woo the girls when face to face with her. The girl on her part loves him deeply but silently.

The crooks on the other hand in a desperate attempt to snatch their loot from Bhagwan, raid Bhagwan's residence in his absence but fail again to detect the portfolio. The seductive services of a girl employed by the leader of the crooks are also wasted on the blundering Bhagwan and she herself discovers the designs of the criminal and subsequently becomes the victim of their murderous attentions. The crooks succeeded in capturing Bhagwan and the girl, who knew much of their game, along with the booty. Could Bhagwan and girl escape? How his dream girl Radha was thrown into the midst of the plot as unwittingly as he, himself got into it, by Bhagwan. Did his errors carry them all to their doom? Or does his blundering complications help to expose the evil and deliver them to safety?

Culmination of these comedy of errors can be seen on the screen.
