"BHAIRAV" is the story of a simple man Shankar (MithunChakraborty) who is booked for murder of R.K. Jindal's (PunitIssar) younger brother. R.K. Jindal is a white collar criminal. Three girls turn up at the police station and give their statement as the eye-eitnesses of the murder against Shanker. Finally Shanker is produced in the court of Law and is sentenced for seven years imprisonment. R.K. Jindal whose brother is killed, is not happy with the verdict passed against Shanker by the court. He therefore kills all the family members of Shanker and blasts out his house.

After spending his term in jail when Shanker gets released he is known as "BHAIRAV" and lives with one and only, mission to search for R.K. Jindal and the three girls who destroyed his life.
