Maharaja Ranjeet Singh was released from Jail after he had completed 9 years term for the murder of his elder brother. But the punishment did not abet his anger. He felt for abolition of states. Abolition of privy-purses and other privileges worked as oil on fire. He along with his associates thereupon charted their course to overthrow, democratically elected Government and to establish personal monarchy in India.

Unexpectedly his scheme met opposition from his own younger brother Ajay and his 9 years old son Bharat. They were encouraged and abeted by his own wife Sita Devi.

Ranjeet was furious. He ordered that they all be killed.

But Ajay and Bharat were more cunning than Ranjeet and his associates. They not only saved themselves but also foiled Ranjeets schemes to sabotage various progressive works done in India.

But Ranjeet succeeded in capturing Ajay and Bharat. They were ordered to be burnt alive along with Sita Devi. Fire was lit.

Were they dead?
Did Ranjeet succeeded in his nefarious plans to subjugate India?
