Father's sudden death comes as a big shock to Vinod and still bigger shock he gets when he comes to know that his beloved father has left behind for him a step mother named Shyama and a step brother named Kundan.

Respecting the last wish of his father, Vinod brings the mother and the brother home hands over the business to Kundan and one day, forced by the circumstances, he decides to leave the city and go to the village of his late grand-father.

In the village, Vinod fines that a trio of 'selfish persons' is sucking the blood of poor villagers. He stands by them. He shows great effection for the untouchables and the handicapped ones, which turns the 'trio' to be his greatest enemies.

In the same village Kajri, a dumb daughter of PechuChamaar starts loving Vinod. But the destiny will differently. Karjri falls in the trap of man's evil desires and one day when she is declared pregnant, the blame comes straight on Vinod.

As Vinod does not want to leave innocent Kajri at the mercy of the crooks, he brings her to his mother Shyama in the city for a shelter, and here too Vinod and Kajri have to face such realities of life that the earth under their feet gives way.
