Sometimes, spurred by sentiment, the old try to blindfold the young and thus lead them on to the dark valley of mental blindness, where the light of truth can hardly find its way.
"ANDHON KI DUNIYA" is the story of an innocent young girl, Bimba - sweet and seventeen. Bimba is wittingly kept ignorant of her father's worldly ways by her mother, Susheela - puritanical stern and unrelenting. Vishwanath, Bimba's uncle - Professor of Science - protests and pleads in vain with the result that the once happy home of Bimba's father Manohar is threatened with the domestic desolation. The crisis, however is averted by Providence through the intervention of Bimba's unbounded love for her father. Bimba, eventually, removes the bandage of illusion from her eyes and puts a stop to the "blind man's buff" started by her fond and loving father.
In domestic matters, as in all worldly affairs, we should view the events of life with breadth of vision and not through the needle's eye; otherwise, we would be just like the blind following the blind with no one to point out the way.
