The story is of a village which is ruled by terror. Every person in the village is afraid of Cheeta (Raj Kiran). Cheeta's mother was a mad woman who used to dance in the village. She was raped by many persons and then Cheeta was born. Cheeta know this and had taken a pledge that every child born in the village will be bastard. Whenever a marriage takes place in the village, Cheeta kidnaps the bride and rapes her.

Forest Office Vijay (Suresh Oberoi) and his beloved Bijlee (Tina Munim) also become victims of Cheeta's wrath. As soon as Vijay and Bijlee get married, Cheeta kills Vijay and rapes Bijlee.

Bijlee wears on Vijay's burning pyre to take revenge from Cheeta. In the agony of revenge Bijlee goes to town to buy a gun. Luck does not favour her here also and she is arrested.

In the prison she meets six girls. Every girls is an expert in her profession Katari (Lubua Shah) excelled with knife, Goongi (Surinder Kaur) in opening safe, Moti (Guddi Maruti) in eating, Bauri (Kaajal Kiran) in drinking, Hera-Pheri (Neelam Mehra) in gambling and Tadipaar (Shoma Anand) their boss, was in expert in planning. Six girls and Bijlee escape from the jail and come to Bijlee's village which is ruled by Cheeta. The Thakur (Surinder Pal) of the village was a shrewd and cunning man. He took full advantage of Cheeta's terror and used to sell village girls in the city.

In this village there was also a young couple who was madly in love. They wanted to get married by they were afraid of Cheeta. Bijlee and six girls who were not girls but lightings, decide to get the young couple married and wear to relieve the villagers of Cheeta's terror.

The seven girls then set up to take revenge from Cheeta. They strike like lighting on Cheeta and make life miserable for him.
